Okta certification is a strong way for an MSP's technicians to validate their identity and access management skills, and for the MSP to demonstrate that expertise to its clients. Okta offers a range of certifications, from a foundational credential up through specialized and architect-level exams. You can see the full program, including how to register for each exam, on the Okta certification page.
Where to start
For most technicians, the place to begin is the Okta Certified Professional certification. It's the baseline credential, and it demonstrates a working understanding of Okta's core features, including user and group management, single sign-on (SSO), application integration, and security policy configuration. There are no certification prerequisites, and it's the foundation for Okta's more advanced credentials.
How ZeroTek helps you get there
A lot of certification readiness comes from doing the work. The day-to-day tasks ZeroTek Partners perform in Okta, such as setting up orgs, managing users and groups, and configuring policies, are the same skills these exams measure. Our hands-on onboarding process, documentation, and guides are built around those procedures, so working through them builds genuine, hands-on Okta competence.
That guidance comes from a team with deep Okta expertise. Okta certification runs across our staff in all departments. Our technicians hold credentials from Certified Professional through Consultant and Developer level, along with Workflows and other specialty certifications. When ZeroTek Partners have a question, it's answered by MSP specialists who are deeply familiar with Okta technology.
ZeroTek Partners get preparation resources and support from our highly qualified team as they ramp up on Okta and work toward certification. Okta is the authority on its own exams and training, and we always point partners to Okta's official certification path. Our role is to help you get ready for it.
