Transferring Okta orgs and licenses

ZeroTek is Okta's exclusive partner for the MSP channel, and transferring Okta orgs or licenses through ZeroTek is seamless, fully supported by Okta, and has no impact on end users. Whether you're bringing a client's existing Okta licenses under ZeroTek, moving a customer to a direct Okta relationship, or transferring a client org to another MSP, the process is designed to be low-effort for partners and invisible to the people using Okta every day.

ZeroTek supports three types of Okta org transfers:

Because ZeroTek is Okta's exclusive partner for the MSP channel, transferring Okta licenses onto ZeroTek happens with the full support of the Okta Partner team. ZeroTek's Okta Pro license covers what most MSPs and their customers need. If a customer's existing Okta SKUs go beyond Okta Pro, ZeroTek offers month-to-month billing for the most commonly requested Okta add-ons, such as Workflows, Okta Device Access, and Identity Threat Protection, and can arrange a discounted annual contract for anything else.

Your customers can also move from ZeroTek Okta licenses to a direct Okta relationship. These transfers typically take up to two weeks, so partners should plan the timing around ZeroTek's monthly billing cycle.

A customer org can move from one ZeroTek MSP partner to another, as long as the destination MSP is or becomes a ZeroTek Partner. Like the other transfer types, this takes up to two weeks and has no impact on the end customer.
